ITS Desktop Support Student Assistant

The WSU Information Technology Services Desktop Support group is looking for a Student Assistant. We support computers running Microsoft Windows and macOS for faculty and staff on campus as well as many student-accessible labs and study areas.

If you like working with computers and learning about technology, then this is the job for you!

The ideal candidate would have solid skills and experience with installing, configuring, and performing basic troubleshooting on computers, printers, and tablet devices. Experience with the Microsoft Windows and/or macOS families of operating systems is highly desirable. A basic working knowledge of computer networking concepts, such as Ethernet network connections and Wi-Fi, is also a plus.  

To succeed at this position you will need to use your problem solving skills, apply attention to detail, and be able to work independently.
