Science Olympiad Student Assistant

Science Olympiad is a team competition program for middle school and high school students. Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is the sponsor and host of the state program. A student worker is sought to aid in creating or gathering resources and organizing materials for tournaments, with the state tournament at WSU in April as the main focus.

Expected or Possible Duties:
-gather and prepare event materials in preparation of tournament(s) (may include creating a forming documents in Microsoft or preparing solutions for labs)
-recruit and organize volunteers
-aid in administrative tasks the week of and on state tournament day (April 6)
-organizing equipment used for the tournaments

Minimum Requirements:
-credit hour requirement of student employees
-background check pass
-ability to work in-person and on at least one Saturday (April 6)

Though Science Olympiad experience would be nice, it is not a requirement.
