NIAR Lab Operations Student Assistant
A Student Assistant is needed within WSU NIAR's ATLAS Lab. This position will report to the Lab Operations Manager.
This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”. Information will need to be collected in this regard but will only be used to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws. Duties:
-Answer and direct phone calls
-Maintain, stock, and organize office supplies
-Coordinate and execute outgoing freight and shipments
-Maintain shipping and receiving paperwork
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of office and lab areas
-Provide general support to visitors and maintain visitor logs
-Preparation of meeting areas prior to any visitors or meetings
-Assist in coordination of badge access requests
-Simple data entry
-Other tasks as requested
Requirements:
-Able to work at least 20 hours per week off-campus
-Driver's License required
-Must possess good organization and interpersonal skills
-Proficiency in MS Office strongly preferred
-Subject to additional duties to meet managers needs
