Technical Training & Content Development Intern

The Technical Training & Content Development Intern will be working with the product developer and product training team to become familiar with an assigned product. The intern will both learn the product to trained and also learn proper training techniques for overall classroom management.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work model and can be located in Racine, WI, Memphis, TN, Ames, IA or New Holland, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Train assigned technical training course applying digital and traditional platforms for dealer service technicians, field personnel and internal company personnel.
  • Study best practices for training and employ techniques in a learning environment.
  • Review designed training support materials.
  • Deliver periodic mini trainings of assigned Technical Training courses leading up to final course presentation.
  • Actively participate in training meetings for cross-collaboration and project review purposes.
  • Contribute ideas during brain-storming activities.
  • Collaborate with other training groups/ training personnel within the company.
  • Complete a final live training event with actual training participants.

This position will pay between $19-$35.25/hour.

  • Actively pursuing an associate, technical, bachelor's or post-graduate degree with a strong demonstrated desire for developing and/or delivering technical training course materials for multiple delivery methods.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Technical knowledge in one or more of the following product areas: agriculture or construction equipment with emphasis on power trains, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
