Electrification/Automation/Digitization Certificate Program

The two years (24 months) Electrification/Automation/Digitization Certificate Program is a rotational development program that will put you at the center of our Construction Product Development, Platform, and Product Validation, organizations in Wichita,KS, Fargo,ND, and Burlington,IA. Offering the broadest view of our business, you will be a key member of teams while pursuing continuing graduate school education at Wichita State University (in-person or remote classes) with a focus on Electrification, Automation, and Digitization. As a member of this program, you may have an opportunity to experience our business and visit our plants in Brazil and Italy. Our goal is to expose you to the breadth of CNH Industrial products, processes, and team members that make our business so successful.

Responsibilities

 
  • Participates as a member of cross-functional product development, platform, or product validation team to achieve objectives for assigned projects.
  • Support the development of investments, timing plans, risk assessments & mitigation plans for assigned projects.
  • Provide status updates to the manager on activities assigned.
  • Lead the design, development, and validation needs to achieve product definition and technical requirements.
  • Facilitates design review meetings, documents meeting minutes, and tracks actions to closure for assigned projects.
  • Utilize engineering methodologies, philosophies, and tools to ensure robust root-cause, risk, and mitigation analysis.
  • Utilize 3D CAD (Creo) for product design and integration.
  • Apply proactive engineering tools to communicate the feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer acceptance of designs for new and current products
  • Create and support others by creating test validation plans and test requests to support product validation activities.
  • Drive the commonality of technical solutions across machine sizes and configurations.
  • Participation in Design reviews, DFMEAs, Risk assessments, and other technical meetings.
  • Support product development machine builds through all phases of industrialization.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team and effectively communicate issues, ideas, concepts, and solutions with internal stakeholders and management.
  • Engage in customer and field experience for product line application knowledge.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
  • Create and keep updated on project activity timing.
  • Follow-up with team members on activity progress.
  • Identify & mitigate project risks and transparently share risks with the team.
  • Develop, track and manage project/activity spending and product cost.
  • Facilitate project/activity meetings with team members.
The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually
(Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)


Qualifications

 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree completed and available to start the program by Q1/2023
  • Written and spoken fluency in English
  • Career mobility to work in Wichita, Fargo, or Burlington according to the program’s necessity
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Corporate internship experience or corporate work experience
  • Preferred majors include but are not limited to Electric, Electronics, Automotive, and Tech. Innovation Engineering, Mechatronic, Agriculture, and Mechanical Engineering
  • Leadership: strong communicator, able to influence others, decision-maker, collaborative
  • Humble: respectful, agile, ready to accept remarks, eager to learn and grow
  • Innovative mindset: out-of-the-box/critical thinker, challenges existing processes/status quo
