NIAR Program Management Office (PMO) Project Management Support
NIAR's Program Management Office is looking for a student to support research program awards.
Job Role: Provide project management support working directly with the PMO director and the Program Manager II in support of NIAR research program awards.
Job Description/Tasks: Assist with documenting the work breakdown structure, developing and monitoring project schedule, risk management, and project performance tracking and reporting for budget and schedule. Participate in project team meetings by taking and distributing notes/minutes and maintaining the project running action item log (RAIL).
This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies. Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a “U.S. Citizen”. Information will need to be collected in this regard, but will only be used to ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws. o Microsoft Project – proficient
o MS Excel – proficient
o Junior or senior, preferred
o Attention to detail
o Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
o PMO located on the second floor of the main NIAR building on campus
o Minimum of 20 hours per week, prefer 30 hours
