Gallery Attendant & Event Staff
The role of the gallery attendant and event staff is to provide excellent visitor service, while ensuring museum policies are followed. The individual in this role will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks, all of which ensure the safety and security of museum artwork museum visitors and the smooth execution of the programs and events.
All employees are required to work opening receptions and attend orientation.
Job duties & responsibilities:
- Assist with opening and closing the museum
- Monitor visitors in the Ulrich galleries
- Greet and assist museum visitors, including providing information on museum/gallery rules and exhibits
- Assist with set up and tear down for programs and special events - moving tables and chairs, placing signage, etc.
- Tracking museum attendance
- Run errands to different departments
- General office duties
- Other job-related duties as assigned
