Apprent-ICT Administrative Assistant

The administrative intern performs routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, providing customer assistance, data processing, filing and record-keeping.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
·        Maintains office forms and assists with administrative tasks
·        Answers multiline phone system
·        Greets clients and employees who enter through the lobby
·        Assists with projects

Position Requirements
·        High school diploma or equivalent required.
·        At least one year of work experience in a clerical support position preferred.
·        Any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position preferred.
·        General knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office.
·        Excellent organization and analytical skills are required.
·        Ability to handle multiple tasks and meeting monthly/weekly reporting deadlines.
·        Excellent communication and customer service skills.
·        Valid driver’s license
·        Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to team’s success.
 
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time non-exempt position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from either 8:00 AM – Noon or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Schedule will be discussed upon interview.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a paid internship starting at $10 per hour.
